What we will learn:
Near the end of the first century, the churches of Asia were worn thin. Rome asked for a worship that followers of Jesus could not give, and the cost of refusing was real. Some lost their standing, some lost their livelihoods, and some lost their lives. Decades had passed since Jesus had ascended, and still He had not returned.

Imagine their questions. Had God forgotten His people? Was Jesus really coming back? Was it worth holding on when holding on cost everything?

Into that darkness, God pulled back the curtain. That is what the word "revelation" means, an unveiling. He gave John a vision of the risen Christ, no longer the humble servant who had been crucified, but the glorified King who holds the keys of death, who walks among His churches, and who is certainly coming again. The suffering Lamb and the conquering King are one and the same. And in the end, He wins.

Our trials look different, but the ache can feel the same. Revelation is not a frightening puzzle to decode or a countdown to the end of the world. It is the unveiling of Jesus and the promise that the story ends in His victory. Across the centuries it says to every weary believer: hold fast, He has not forgotten you, and He is coming.
